Range Rover Time Travels in Style at Milan Design Week

Range Rover has just dropped its first major installation at Milan Design Week – and it’s unlike anything we’ve seen before. Designed in collaboration with the forward-thinking creative studio NUOVA, Futurespective: Connected Worlds brings together the past, present and future of luxury design in true Range Rover fashion.




Set against the stunning backdrop of the 18th-century Palazzo Belgioioso, this immersive experience is all about connection. It takes visitors on a cinematic journey across two distinct eras – from the birth of the Range Rover in 1970 to the cutting-edge design of today’s models. Think of it as time travel, Range Rover style.

As you step into the experience, a 25-metre gold-branded monolith marks your entrance to the past. The first space echoes the feel of a 1970s Range Rover showroom, a nod to the brand’s roots. At the centre is a true icon: the first pre-production Range Rover, ‘YVB 151H’, finished in original Olive Green. It’s surrounded by retro design details, from deep wood panelling to custom 70s-style furniture crafted by NUOVA, complete with an oxblood leather sofa, vintage fish tank, and warm amber lighting. The space even smells of the era, thanks to a bespoke scent from Aeir, NUOVA’s sustainable fragrance label. But this is no ordinary nostalgia trip.







Guests are then transported to a future-forward space – a light-filled capsule that brings the brand’s modern identity to life. At its core sits the latest fifth-generation Range Rover Autobiography, finished in a custom Bespoke metallic green as a subtle nod to the original. Here, the space becomes a sensory reflection of modern luxury, with ambient sound, mirrored pillars, and another custom scent, Wet Stone, setting the tone. NUOVA’s team, known for their immersive design, partnered with Range Rover to bring this story to life through sound, scent, and style. Even the concierge hosts are part of the journey, dressed in specially made 70s-inspired fashion by LA atelier L’Equip.
