Powertrains & Engine Changes

2024 Range Rover Sport Ignition

The 2024 Range Rover Sport lineup shares the engines seen in the previous model year as well as across the Range Rover family, however, there are some never before seen differences appearing this year for the first time.

Hybrid plug-in electric engines are some of the most significantly impacted engine changes this year. The P440e has been replaced by the P460e as well as the P510e is being replaced by the P550e, both of which now offer a 70 mile all-electric range as well as having massive impacts on the efficiency of the vehicle they are featured in, all the while increasing performance in acceleration times too.

On top of the plug-in hybrid engine changes, the Range Rover Sport SV has also been introduced this year, and to go along with that, the latest engine for the lineup too. This car brings an all new engine, boasting an impressive 620+ bhp engine to the model, creating the fastest Range Rover Sport ever made, reaching 0-60 in just 3.6 seconds, a record for the brand.

Technology Changes

2024 Range Rover Sport Tech

Overall, the 2024 model year does bring some of the most dramatic new technology changes in the brand's history and in actual fact, offers a number of world firsts into the Range Rover family.

The Pivi Pro infotainment system has never been so advanced nor as capable as it is in this model year. The 13.3-inch screen provides more features than ever before, featuring many of the cabin options previously physically present in the vehicle turned digital for ease of use, simple refinement and effortless driving practicality all into one area.

Looking more closely still, the 24 model year of Range Rover Sport has introduced never before seen 23-inch Carbon Fibre Wheel options, carbon ceramic brakes for the first time, and possibly most impressive of all, hydraulic interlinked 6D Dynamics air suspension with pitch and roll control maintains a near-level stance at any velocity change required.
